Can someone help me define if this bracelet is gold, silver, partial or what?!?
Hi, Im trying to figure out what this bracelet I have is made of. It is a bangle, old, goldtone and closes together by magnet. It is stamped exactly "925 1/20 10K Au". My interpretation is silver with 1/20 of the bracelet being 10k gold but Im not totally sure. I want to sell this but I dont want to mislead anyone and also would like to know the worth obviously. It weighs 8.4 grms. Im going to try and leave links for the pics but not sure if it will work but please give me your opinion if you know your stuff with jewelry. Thanks so much in advance

Go on www.yelp.com, search for Pawn Shops in your area. Go to the nearest pawn shop and ask them to examine the bracelet. Pawn shops are usually good at determining real and fake jewelry and the type of jewelry. Go to them with the mindset of selling it and ask them how much they will give you for it. Let them tell you what kind of metal it is. Just in case they decide to lie to you and low ball you on the value.

its a lovely ring, and i guess nowadays anythings goes, but i would suggest u stick to a classic diamond ring, coz u will be able to wear it all the time and with anything, i love the ring u chose and i'm with ur mom it does look like a 'dinner ring'. but if u do insist on buying it then who's stopping u, do as u please and maybe buy the solitaire some other day maybe on one of ur future anniversaries!

How to shrink a leather wrist band?
I ordered matching leather wrist bands for me and my boyfriend for our two year anniversary this year, but the problem is mine is too big. The wrist bands are about 2 inches wide because that was the only size that could fit the whole date. So my question is how can I shrink the wristband so it fits my wrist better ( i'm not talking about the width but the length is too big) but doesn't hurt the writing. Thanks
Soak it in cold water for about 5-10 minutes, then toss it in the dryer for about 15 minutes. The quick transfer from cold to hot will cause the leather to shrink. Just don't leave it in the dryer for too long or it will get really small!

i'm thinking of getting myself into the black watch after i'm done with high school, which will be next year. i live near ottawa. so is there anything closer or should i join them? also, will the military pay for my university fees, or is it just military college that they pay for? i'm only thinking about joining the reserves.
